Get productive in Winter

Technically, I never had much experience in winter but I can get a fist of it in Guyana when the rain falls heavy and the place turns cold. This just makes you not to be productive than in usual times. The following article (deduced from lifehacker.com) helped me significantly in more or less getting my work done in a more of a creative manner.

Best tips to get productive in winter
  1. Brighten Up Your Home or Office: use as much natural light as possible and keep your workstation lit for as long as you want to work.
  2. Get Organised: To do lists, event calendars, etc. all really help in time management and productivity when followed creatively.
  3. Stay Active and Exercise: as soon as you feel a little bit of laziness still entering and you're about to sleep, watch TV or relax in the couch or bed, get up and do some exercise. Run around the place, do push ups, pull ups, hell anything to just get rid of that laziness.
  4. Socialize: meet up with friends and family, go out for shopping with them. Make new friends. JUST GET OUT OF THE HOUSE!

Biology Presentation

There was a Biology Presentation on 23rd September, 2014. Although the science students know that I did not do it well and I did not had strong points... blah blah blah. Miss Naudyah had requested me to make the presentation available to every science student. So here is the link for it. I am also planning to do it better, so I request that you comment on this post and tell me the points which you think should be essential for the topic: Chemical Factors Affecting Distribution of Organisms.

Ameed's CSEC 2014 Score

After hard work and critical studying, I finished my CXC CSEC 2014 exam on the 3rd of June, 2014. This exam was meant for next year but I decided to take a bit of it this year with only two subjects: Information Technology and Mathematics. I received my results on Wednesday, 13th of August, 2014 (4:32AM). Thank God I got the following score:
I would like to thank everyone who have helped me achieve these results. I would like to thank especially my teachers, friends and parents who have worked hard and sacrificed their time alongside me for my proficiency improvement.

Heading to the end of OUR ISA

We have been having very busy holidays for a few weeks now, getting ourselves ready for SBAs and CSEC. If you really count well, we are about 6 to 7 months away from our halt of Secondary Studies at ISA. So its time to pull our socks up and get busy. "It is our turning point", as my dad says. It is what will determine what we will achieve next. So speaking about SBAs, here are the link to the resources which we need for 7th August, 2014 (Thursday) when we will be doing Physics/Integrated Science labs:
Sound
Conductivity
Latent Heat of Fusion <-- This was already done but the hand outs were not distributed
Centre of Gravity for a Lamina (Hand outs already distributed)

Note: don't forget to bring materials which you are supposed to bring!

Social Studies Questionnaire

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am currently pursuing my Secondary Education at ISA Islamic School and am required to conduct a research for the School Based Assessment (SBA) component of my Social Studies Syllabus. As such, I have chosen to investigate the causes and effects of Social Network Sites on teens in Brickdam.
With this intention, I am seeking your participation in the completion of the attached questionnaire. I assure you that your responses will be confidential given the fact you are not required to write your name on the questionnaire.
I am looking forward for your cooperation.

Yours Faithfully,
Syed Ameed
